The safari hat is crafted with a 75% cotton and 25% nylon mesh blend, providing maximum comfort and durability while enhancing ventilation. The adjustable chin cord ensures a customized fit, so the hat you need is always right where you want it.

Coolmax technology helps optimize your performance and keep you dry during workouts, adventures, and leisure activities. The nylon safari hat incorporates an elasticized Coolmax sweatband to deliver the ultimate in cooling coverage.

Solarweave, a lightweight fabric with UPF 50+, is used in the construction of this sun hat. All Dorfman hats made with Solarweave are tested and proven to protect against harmful UV rays, even after 100 hours of accelerated exposure.

Proper Fit is Key When it comes to finding the right hat, size matters. To determine your ideal fit, simply wrap a measuring tape around the largest part of your head, just above your eyebrows. Firmly hold the tape mid-forehead, not too tight or too loose, to accurately measure your head size.

If your measurement falls between sizes on the hat size chart, we recommend choosing the next larger size. A slightly roomier hat is much more comfortable and easier to adjust than one that's too tight. Don't worry if you have a larger head – we offer hats in sizes up to XXXL to ensure the perfect fit.

The Difference Between Men's and Women's Hats Men's hats are generally sized numerically or alphabetically, with some one-size-fits-most options that accommodate head circumferences from 21.5" to 23".

Women's hats often come in a single size fits most, with an adjustable inner drawstring or band to suit head sizes ranging from 21.5" to 22.25" in circumference.

Hat Alteration Options Many "one size" hats feature an inner drawstring that can be gently tugged to tighten the fit by up to two sizes. Hats without drawstrings can be adjusted using sizing tape, which maintains the shape of the sweatband and inner lining without any damage.
