It is not suitable for swimming, as it is not chlorine or saltwater resistant, nor is it water repellent.

The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying, with a soft, cotton-like feel. It offers UPF 50+ protection, blocking 98% of UVA and UVB rays, making it an excellent choice for protecting your skin from the sun's harmful effects.

For care, the hat is recommended to be hand-washed and line-dried, as it is an imported item.
